About Me - Michelle Gabraith
I am a Mother of three. My older two are on the pinnacle of leaving home for University and my youngest son has just started secondary school. We live in Surrey in the UK.
My background is in HR Training and Development and I own a reflexology practice which has been established for ten years. I am a member of the Federation of Small Business.
Personal development and continuous professional development has always been a priority to me. I have always believed that we are a product of our thoughts which have been created by our backgrounds and circumstances. My happiness is rooted in a passion to coach other people to unlock their own potential. There is nothing more rewarding for me to watch another person ‘grow’ where they move beyond their current circumstances to a place where they are able to make the necessary decisions to achieve what they want.
My children have been a particular source of joy for me. I have always taken my responsibility as a Mother very seriously. I have always tried to bring my children up in an environment where my limited beliefs are not their experience. As a result of this self awareness, I can see the fruits of my decisions blossoming as my three children become increasingly ‘at cause’ in their own lives; making their own decisions based on what they want to achieve in life.
I am actively involved in local charity causes in my community and I have a love for interval training Bootcamp which I participate in at least twice a week; my commitment to my health and wellbeing has assisted me in the business too; through the intense exercises I have learned personal perspectives of what it takes to push through physical barriers and the mental chatter that goes on in my head that would have me sit down if I listened to it! This knowledge has honed my focus and fine tuned the 'how to get the job done'.
This business has enabled me to flourish and live true to my values and the time freedom of running the business on my terms has been invaluable. I no longer have to miss school events or get child care when they are ill. I can also actively be involved with support that the school calls upon from time to time such as interview skills for the Year 11 students.
My children and I really enjoy travelling the world because of our interest in other cultures. When we do hop abroad, my business comes too thanks to the portability of it being online. And because I have structured my business to always be fun, I never feel like I am at work, in the traditional 9 to 5 sense.
